Web and moviments of teachers’ education: subject and interdisciplinarity in official documents

Abstract

This research intends to investigate how the graduates subject is constituted in his saying, taking into account curricular prescription of interdisciplinarity, in design of the course of Letters with habilitation in English language. For that, we go through the official documents that govern the teachers’ education and the self writing of teachers. The theoretical-methodological perspective adopted is based on Discourse Analysis and the Foucaultian notions of subject and discourse. The analytical procedures are in the movement of description of discourses regime on interdisciplinarity and historical conditions of its appearance, seeking in social sphere the relations of knowledge and powers that are its own; and the analysis of elements in official documents and self writing that demonstrate coherence in the conditions of possibility of these knowledge today. We observed that, in spite of the fact that the graduates were formed from a project structured in axes and oriented theoretically to interdisciplinarity, the teachers' enunciation showed the central position of language studies and encyclopedic teaching, both in the degree course and in their own teaching practice. It is necessary, therefore, to propose formative practices based on constant research, verification and intervention of educational daily to promote social transformations.
