PLAYER EXPERIENCE AND THE ENHANCEMENT OF EMOTIONAL SKILLS IN INTERACTION WITH SENSIDEX GAME: A PILOT STUDY WITH CHILDREN OF BASIC EDUCATION

This work aims to analyze the players' experience in interacting with the Sensidex digital game and their perception of learning emotions. The study carried out is part of the validation and testing stage of the game developed by Grupo Edumídia CNPq/UFSC. Thus, it is characterized as a pilot study that includes the application of the Sensidex digital game in three elementary school classes, with the participation of 71 children who, after playing, answered a questionnaire and participated in a collective interview. The results revealed good acceptance of the game, easy understanding of the rules and motivation to win the game. Children report learning about emotions and how to act in situations, honesty stands out as the most cited aspect by children.
