Abstract

The book Adventure for Knowledge, a narrated story, brings up questions about the dynamics and history of the city of Caetité – Bahia, with the aim of bringing positive implications to EJA – Youth and Adult Education students with mild to moderate cognitive disabilities that will reflect on their learning, using the city for such promotion. In addition to the textual production, the book offers interactive support with the resources available so that the educator can work with the content, Caetité, in an inclusive way. The work, which starts from a real sense for the pedagogical, shows the city from different angles, images, colors, traditions, customs and all its people. Divided into five chapters, the book contains informative and interactive texts, photographs and sequenced activities in which the student sees himself as part of its history. The additional resources developed from the site allow a dynamic, interactive and real-time approach for students to find the QR codes to be deciphered and transformed into research possibilities, and also, through these, they will have the opportunity to playfully carry out the activities proposed in the printed book.
