DIGITAL TOOLS IN REMOTE TEACHING OF THE INTERPROFESSIONAL HEALTH MODULE

To describe the use of digital tools in remote teaching of the Interprofessional Health Module. The Module focuses on health care from the perspective of comprehensive care and teamwork, and is offered as part of the undergraduate health courses at the University of Pernambuco (UPE) and of postgraduate tutoring. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, presential teaching activities were interrupted and resumed using remote teaching resources. Digital tools began to be used as mediators in the teaching-learning process. The main technologies utilized were: communication, support for specific disciplines, presentation, and content production. The teaching the module through remote teaching was satisfactory, with no major difficulties reported in accessing and using the technologies. Continuing activities in the remote format and the continued use of digital tools can contribute positively to academic training.
