- The authors of the submission assume, by their respective publication, the ethical responsibilities:

- The following are considered violations of good ethical practices, and therefore indicative of unethical conduct on the part of the authors:

  • obtaining and/or attempting to publish in duplicate;
  • suspicion of similarity (plagiarism) in the production sent to CEDU;
  • fabrication of information/data;
  • presentation/alteration/inclusion of improper authorship;

- CEDU does not charge a paper processing fee (submission, evaluation and publication) to the authors and allows free access to all content of the editions for reading.

- In case of final acceptance, authors of manuscripts submitted to CEDU must submit an analysis report using a similarity verification program, in order to identify the possibility of plagiarism (copying someone else's intellectual work without due credit) and self-plagiarism (total or partial reproduction of another author's text related to the submitted manuscript). If these problems are identified, CEDU reserves the right to request corrections/adjustments or to reject the submission.

- In case of final approval of the submission, it is necessary to send an audio file for inclusion in the publication on the CEDU website. The audio must contain: name of the journal, title of the production, author(s) and abstract. For example, we recommend consulting the audio template attached to manuscripts already published in CEDU.

- It is strongly suggested that, in case of final approval, authors submit a complete version of the manuscript/product in one more language (English, Spanish, French and, in the case of proposals from outside Brazil, Portuguese).
