Mapping of the methodological processes of learning for the teaching of an Modern Foreign Language: a clipping of scientific productions of the magazine Babel

Abstract

This article analyzes work on learning methods in the teaching of Modern Foreign Languages of the Babel: Electronic Magazine of Languages and Literatures Foreign. The article uses as a theoretical reference to support the discussion about the researched subject Santos (2011); Martins (2017); Siqueira (2011). The selected articles were produced in the years 2011 and 2017. In this way, are addressed the main learning methods for language teaching in Brazil, and in the wake of this understanding, the study seeks to show the main criticisms made to the learning methods for the teaching of any Modern Foreign Language. The research also proposes that the Foreign Language teacher should not limit himself/herself to the learning method(s) selected by him, since the teacher should continuously evaluate his/her teaching practice, so that the so that you can have the "communicational competence" of the student in the language studied.
