RETRACTIONS

If any error committed by the journal or another party is discovered, such as duplicate articles, incomplete authorship information or ethical misconduct by authors, the journal will have a period of 30 to 180 days to resolve it. The editorial team must be alerted, via email, about the failure. The retraction time will depend on the need for evaluation and new opinions.

Before articles are published, the final version of the manuscript is sent to the authors for approval.

The journal will publish, in the retraction section, the title of the article, the name of the authors and institutional affiliations in cases of identification of plagiarism or self-plagiarism; as well as in the case of authors submitting the same manuscript to other journals after receiving the acceptance letter.

Furthermore, depending on the severity of the error identified, the journal may contact the institutions with which the authors are involved, as well as inform co-authors about the process.

The investigation process will take place:

Firstly, before starting the process, define the nature of the breach of conduct, for example: plagiarism, ideological falsehood, data manipulation, theft and misuse of other people's articles, etc. Right away:

1 – Survey the submission and the entire initial and subsequent peer evaluation process;

2 – Check all communications with authors;

3 – Check the similarity report;

4 – Confront complaints, whether anonymous or identified, with the entire editorial process;
 5 – Issue a technical and scientific report of the investigation;

6 – Dialogue with the identified authors and whistleblowers, if any, or with those responsible for the true credit;

7 – Meeting with the journal’s editorial and scientific committee to make a decision regarding the retraction.
