Nona Ozouf: formation, intellectual trajectory and historical narrative in the present time.

Abstract

In this article we present an intellectual trajectory of the French historian Mona Ozouf, a reference in studies about the French Revolution and the Republican School. For that, we resorted to the analysis of interviews, historiographic and dissemination works published by the historian in question. Aspects of childhood, youth and adulthood are highlighted as references of attribution of meanings that do not explain, however, thought of as experience, complexize their approaches regarding Republican Education, the French Revolution and, finally, a particular perception - and sometimes controversy - of feminism. Allocated in a specific time, namely, the present time, elements of Ozouf's unique historiographical contribution are presented, having as articulating line the school formation, political performance and intellectual production of the author. The reflections presented here are supported mainly by the debate about biographical writing and the concept of experience, as designed by Heidegger and revisited by Larrosa.
