Abstract

Este artigo aborda a questão do planejamento de um MAI, considerando os principais fatores e atores envolvidos nesse processo. A perspectiva teórica baseia-se na Teoria do Campo Científico de Pierre Bourdieu, priorizando os conceitos de capital, habitus e campo científico, incorporando também contribuições de autores latino-americanos. O campo empírico foi construído a partir de 24 entrevistas em profundidade com 24 doutores e doutorandos de quatro Programas, categorizados nos níveis mais elevados da escala de avaliação utilizada no México. Os resultados indicam a relevância de quatro dimensões: financiamento e importância das agências de fomento; a orientação da tese, a coordenação do Programa de Doutoramento e demais atores intervenientes; as experiências anteriores e o capital de mobilidade do doutorando, bem como as principais decisões tomadas pelos agentes: temporalidade e destino.

Author Biographies

Leslie Adriana, CENTER FOR PEDAGOGICAL AND SOCIAL RESEARCH (CIPS)

The author posses a PhD in Higher Education Management from the University of Guadalajara in Mexico, she also has a master's degree in Education and a degree in International Relations. He belongs to the National System of Researchers for the period 2023-2026. She has published in different refereed journals and currently works as a teacher-researcher at the Center for Pedagogical and Social Research of the Ministry of Education of Jalisco in Mexico.

 

Monica de la Fare, Catholic University of Pelotas

Graduated in Social Work - Universidad de Buenos Aires (1990), master's degree in Social Service (1999), doctorate in Social Service (2003) and post-doctorate in Education (2010) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) . She is currently a professor at the Catholic University of Pelotas (UCPEL). She was a public assistant professor in the discipline Research in Education at the Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences of the National University of La Plata (Argentina) and an adjunct professor at the School of Humanities at PUCRS, working in the Postgraduate Program in Education, in the Program of Postgraduate degree in Social Work and the Pedagogy Course. She served as a guest professor in the Doctorate in Educational Sciences at UNLP in 2017 and 2019. Research Productivity Scholarship Pq2, visiting researcher in the Postgraduate Program in Education at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). As a full member, she is a member of the Research Ethics Committee of the National Association of Postgraduate Studies and Research in Education (ANPEd) and the Working Group on Open Science as a Common Good, of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO). She works and publishes on educational inequalities, with an emphasis on Youth and Adult Education and on themes of Higher Education policies, teacher training and Research Ethics.
