The formation of the ability to characterize, its treatment in the discipline general pedagogic training

Abstract

In Cuba, the training of preschool education professionals is a continuous training system that begins in the undergraduate level and is complemented by professional development through preparation, so that they fulfill the functions and tasks of their professional performance, where the formation of skills is a key element in the resolution of the diversity of problems that arise in their performance. The ideas presented below corroborate this opinion, since the objective of this article is to analyze a group of theoretical references on the formation of the ability to characterize in the discipline of General Pedagogical Training, in the Bachelor's Degree in Preschool Education. In the theoretical study, the dialectical-materialist method was used as the guiding method, which was complemented with the use of theoretical methods such as the historical-logical, modeling and systemic-structural methods. Based on the proposed theoretical foundations, a strategy was structured for the formation of the ability to characterize in the discipline of General Pedagogical Formation, in the students of the Pre-school Education career at the Centro Universitario Municipal Los Palacios, with a systemic character, which contains objectives and specific strategic actions such as: a training course program for teachers and students, workshops for teachers and students and a system of classes of the different subjects that make up this discipline.
