In Cuba, health is recognized as one of the main achievements, since promoting health levels and quality of life is one of the achievements with the greatest political and social repercussion in the country. The improvement of hospital management is essential in medical care, for this the quality of services must be promoted with a systemic and multidisciplinary approach, and understood as a comprehensive and continuous care process in which various processes interact, with the objective to achieve patient satisfaction. For this reason, and taking into account the excessive waiting time in interconsultations, the non-existence of a management model and the inconveniences of planning in the Chemotherapy Service, the present investigation carried out at the Center for Attention to Oncological Patients "III Congress ” of Pinar del Río has the objective of “Designing the necessary elements to extend the scope of the existing SGC to the Chemotherapy Service”. To meet this objective, were used as analytical methods, tools and techniques, observation, teamwork, documentary analysis, SWOT, the Delphi Method, the checklist and the maturity matrix, as well as the NC-ISO 9001:2015 as a regulatory document for the design of the elements of the QMS of the Chemotherapy Service. Among the main conclusions are that the SGC in the Center evidenced a change in the traditional management approach to process management, favoring efficiency, guaranteeing greater participation of the parties involved and increasing patient satisfaction with great satisfaction. those received.
