Abstract

ABSTRACT:

Considering the multigrade classes a viable pedagogical proposal in Rural Education. The present research provides an opportunity to promote the discussion of the diversity of experiences, knowledge and ages in a classroom, which, in the face of a local context in the field marked by low enrollment, communities with difficult access and even few classrooms, makes it possible to group students with different grades and ages in the same classroom. Considering that multigrade classes work chaotically in the countryside, where there is a lack of infrastructure, pedagogical support, crowded classrooms due to the closing of schools and with that students move to pole schools, organized in nuclei, among other challenges that must be overcome. For this purpose, field and bibliographic research was used as a methodology, identifying the political and pedagogical engagement of professionals and subjects specifically in the municipality of Remanso-BA. Therefore, it is essential to value the multi-series as a pedagogical practice in Rural Education that aims to keep students in the place where they live, from a contextualized education of coexistence with the region. It emphasizes the importance of pedagogical support for teachers working in this area, contextualized didactic material and physical structure, believing in the possibility of quality rural education.
