The flexible educational subject of Edgar Morin
proposed readings from a poem by Manoel de Barros
Abstract
This article is based on the paradigm of complexity, finding, in the Morinian dialogue, a possibility of confluence between sociology, psychology, philosophical thought and literary studies, which are important fields for human formation. Morin, Durand, Bachelar, Piaget, among others, support the proposed reflection, providing elements for the understanding of a more flexible teaching, shown through three perspectives on the poem “Línguas”, by Manoel de Barros. An analytical approach is presented that indicates teaching outside the restricted compartmentalization of curricular knowledge, seeking to intertwine them, valuing the whole and the parts of an education system in which teachers and students are active constituents, with their experiences and knowledge beyond what is inside the school structure, so that students can be prepared to live together in a plural world in a more comprehensive way.
