Abstract

Este artigo “carta aberta”, traz reflexões profundas e precisas sobre o papel da mulher na proteção da Baía de Todos Os Santos, o segundo maior ecossistema de baía do Brasil, a partir da atividade milenar da mariscagem, apontando como a vulnerabilidade da mulher na sociedade impacta diretamente a preservação do ecossistema marinho, onde, a questão central conclama por resposta a uma simples pergunta: Se o futuro depende do que fazemos hoje, como vamos escolher agir?

Empreendedora, marisqueira e pescadora artesanal, é líder comunitária e orienta os membros de colônia de pesca e marisqueira de Madre de Deus, na Bahia em aspectos jurídicos e previdenciários, dedicando-se à interface entre projetos públicos e privados com líderes comunitários, com foco socioambiental à pesca, aplicando conhecimentos de auditora em qualidade ISO 9001, avaliação, perícia ambiental e ESG (Ambiental, Social e Governança).
