The present research aims reflect about the theme territory and identity, taking as referential of analysis the Paraguayan of/and Dourados/MS. We stress that think about identity, the leave from cutting territorial, presupposes consider the sense of belonging, institutionalized or not. Belong a point on territory it is fruit of relations social historically produced, loading meanings, affections, living, experiences and wishes. We consider that perspective, we take as object of study the Paraguayan that living in city of Dourados, seeking assess, stories of life, his routines, possible resistances, or a sense more broad, the if sense of belonging. The methodology adopted if sued by means of search of field, aiming more approach as the population Paraguayan, interview with subject which directly work with that population, as teachers, staff from sector of trade, of immigration and health. Through from lifting accomplished, of testimonials and enunciates, we seek analyze his set of elements, signs and references, the leave of relations who establish with the place.
