MEMÓRIAS DE SANGUE
HISTÓRIA ORAL E IDENTIDADES INDÍGENAS NO POVOADO SANGUE (URUÇUÍ-PIAUÍ)

O objetivo deste artigo é analisar as relações estabelecidas pelas memórias indígenas – costumes, crenças, tradições e identidade – que se conectam à luta pela posse da terra no povoado Sangue, zona rural de Uruçuí, no Piauí. Por meio da metodologia da história oral, registramos en-trevistas e investigamos a oralidade de uma família que afirma descender de uma índia sobrevivente de um massacre do século XVIII. Suas lembranças acerca da ancestralidade, lugares de memórias e relações de trabalho com potentados da região fundamentam suas identidades e anseios de con-seguirem reaver na justiça a terra de seus antepassados.
