Considerações acerca da psicopolítica neoliberal

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present and discuss some psychological characteristics of subjects within the neoliberal context. To do so, we start from a consideration of the concept of freedom as a driving mechanism of market logic and the enlargement of the private sphere. As a result of this, we seek to highlight the forms of psychological illness inherent to this mode of subjectivation and how they are fostered within a certain project of social and political control.
