The organizational science: basic concepts to understand Bogdanov's Tektology
basic concepts to understand Bogdanov's Tektology
Abstract
Tektology is the universal organizational science proposed by Bogdanov capable of going beyond specialized sciences both in what concerns the resolution of problems and the questioning of the world, in putting questions forward. The basis for this science, which may seem like a Leviathan at first glance, is the concept of organization, concept which Bogdanov expands into its tree organizational complexes, in a way that the author breaks with the idea of total organization and with total disorganization. Tektology is the science with the intent to connect all sciences and create a mutual language, in this sense, mathematics and philosophy would no longer be used, instead, we would use the organizational language. Therefore, this article has two objectives: the first is to present the importance of this “lost philosophy”; the second is to specify some key concepts of tektology, such as the idea of organization, its methods and, lastly, break some of its misconceptions. Once this is done it will be possible to grasp an introductory understanding of the organizational science of Bogdanov, which is capable of explaining the infinite unfolding of the fabric of all types and forms of organization that is the universe.
