CONFLITOS PÓS-COLONIAIS E MOBILIZAÇÃO INTERNACIONAL EM ÁFRICA

Abstract

What does deliberation epistemically involve, in the context of contemporary democracies? Democratic politics is not war by other means. In a properly functioning liberal democracy, mutual deliberation occurs through the exchange of public reasons—reasons that can be evaluated from the common point of view. Political Activism in Africa is found in this space of narratives as a claim to truth, seeks reasons, works as a provider of social justice in favor of the most basic human rights, without restriction or distinction. Endorsed in social epistemology, particularly within the framework of the epistemology of democracy. This text analyzes the notions of: Democracy, Deliberation and Voting. Within the theoretical framework of political conflicts. My hypothesis is that political discourse, endorsed by the debate around the idea of epistocracy (and meritocracy), can minimize the political violence present in the public space.
