INTEGRAL EDUCATION MISSIONS AND LOCAL EMANCIPATION ACTIONS: AN INNOVATION IN THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF MOZAMBIQUE

Abstract

The present article aims to analyze to what extent the proposal to establish integral education missions that stimulate local emancipation actions constitutes an appreciable innovation at the level of workers of the Presbyterian Church of Mozambique. In methodological terms this is a qualitative research whose data collection was based on documentary analysis and group interview techniques. The study concludes that the establishment of integral education missions that stimulate actions of local emancipation constitutes a significantly appreciable innovation at the level of church workers and it is therefore seen as an indispensable factor of social intervention of the Presbyterian Church of Mozambique.
