UM OLHAR SOBRE A GESTÃO DE RECURSOS NA EDUCAÇÃO E O SUCESSO DA ECONOMIA BRASILEIRA
Abstract
This article examines the important connection between effective resource management in public education and sustainable economic development in Brazil. Recognizing quality public education as a vital engine for socioeconomic progress, the research seeks to answer the central question: how can the management of educational resources promote the country's economic success? To explore this issue, the study's general objective was to evaluate the impact of resource management in public education on the Brazilian economy. The specific objectives included: analyzing the conceptual and historical foundations of educational resource management and its relationship with the Brazilian economy; identify and describe the contributions of educational resources management to economic development; and explore current strategies used to enable this economic success. Authors such as Filho e Pessôa (2010), Dias e Dias (2007), Ranilce Mascarenhas (2007), Milone (1998), among others, were considered as the basis for this study. The research adopts a qualitative approach, providing a detailed analysis of the educational and economic reality in Brazil. The study reveals that, despite significant investments, poor distribution and inefficient management of resources are still persistent challenges. The article concludes by emphasizing the need for continuous and well-managed educational policies, independent of government cycles, to sustain Brazil's long-term economic growth. The final considerations summarize the main findings and highlight the importance of a strategic vision and commitment to quality education for the country's economic development.
