A EFICIÊNCIA DO CONTROLE DE ESTOQUE EM UMA INDÚSTRIA DE FERTILIZANTES, BAHIA – 2022

Abstract

This article has as its theme the evaluation of the efficiency of the operational business management of the bulk product inventory control process, through SAP. What is the main factor(s) that are promoting bottlenecks, critical points and loss of efficiency in the operational management of inventory control even with the use of SAP? The general objective is to present the main bottlenecks and critical points that prevent the referring company to become competitive and succeed in its monthly indicators through a well-organized and controlled stock, despite the broad product portfolio. This is a Case Study carried out in a fertilizer company, located in Candeias in Bahia in the year 2022, where a qualitative deductive approach was used with the use of Research: Bibliographic and Descriptive. During the present study, it was possible to identify the factors that are promoting bottlenecks, critical points and loss of efficiency in the operational management of inventory control, even with the use of SAP ERP, the main factors identified were: The lack of training for the team operational, human behavior and lack of maintenance on auxiliary equipment of the system.
