Abstract

This article aims to answer whether the abstract, introduction and conclusion of academic works are texts analogous to their counterparts in other literary genres, and, if not, as defended in the raised hypothesis, demonstrate their specificities and essential requirements. This is an exclusively bibliographic, qualitative research, using deductive reasoning that was carried out due to the common approach of these textual elements in academic works as if they were texts analogous to their counterparts in other literary genres, so that authors are not rarely they do not observe the essential requirements of these elements in their academic works, even the most complex ones.
