GOTEJAR EM BRASEIROS: DRAMATURGIA, CURTA-METRAGEM, MONTAGEM CÊNICA E A DIMENSÃO DO CORPO

ABSTRACT: The present article brings a comparative analysis of the dramatic text Braseiro (2000), the homonymous short movie (2013) and the stage production Gotejo (2020). Following the intertextuality which crosses the productions and the dialogism present in the replica from the characters, there is a criticism on the dimension of the body in the dramatic text and in the short film, aspect that is taken up in an investigative and pedagogical way in the theatrical production. The body is regarded as a propellant element for important issues to the sertanidade, such as the mandonismo (in terms of theme) and the literary court game (in the structure of the works). For the analysis, classic and contemporary texts about the Sertão were taken into consideration, such as Cunha ([1902] 2019), Lopes (2012) and Albuquerque Jr. (2011). The results of these reflections are the propositions for the resumption of the body as a way to think about Bahia’s literature, cinema and theater.
