Abstract

This work is part of the research carried out in the Scientific Initiation Program within the scope of the Childhood and the Pandemic Project (2020 and 2021), developed in a study carried out by the Observatory of Childhood and Early Childhood Education of the University of the State of Bahia. The research aims to analyze the return to in-person activities in Early Childhood Education in the Municipality of Guanambi Bahia, seeking to verify the discourse produced on the in-person return of babies and children to Early Childhood Education schools, in the context of the elaboration, execution and monitoring of sanitary protocols in school institutions due to the need to understand what measures should be taken to welcome the children back. The study concludes that there was a delay in the in-person return to the municipality in a context of recommendations from different entities for the return in 2021 and with a high percentage of families who wanted the return.
