Women in the labor market: a contemporary struggle

The present study aimed to survey and analyze scientific productions on work, education and economics under the gender bias. This is an integrative review of scientific articles on this topic in the Capes database. The results obtained allowed the synthesis and characterization of information that bring evidence about the demarcated temporality. Research shows the issues that involve work, education and the economy for women, as well as pointing out the social aspects present in gender inequalities. It was found that it is necessary for women to participate in the most diverse spaces of decision and power so that, based on guidelines and guarantees of rights, they can have equitable conditions, especially in the labor market.
