Playful experiences in the context of the toy library Lydia Hortélio do DEDC XII/UNEB

Abstract

The purpose of this summary arises from the playful experiences in the of the Lydia Hortélio toy library of DEDC XII/UNEB. The analysis is born from the monitoring of the extension experienced by the monitor. Its main objective is to describe and analyze the playing experiences in the Campus XII toy library. The is based on the readings carried out by the study group of the Brinquedoteca and Ciranda projects that deal with childhood, children, the meaning of playing and games in children's cultures and their implications for education. In summary, we emphasize that the toy library is seen as a place of learning and a space that privileges the guarantee and the right of children to play. From the experiences lived in the toy library of Campus XII, we discovered the importance of playing with children, instead of just stimulating them, as the toy library is a structurally playful place, returning to their socialization and knowledge construction.
