Identities weaved in aphrodicial narratives

Authors

Abstract

Thinking about the production of knowledge through the circulating narratives in the space of the terreiro and how these knowledge / narratives contribute to the formation of identities are some of the dialogues and reflections proposed in this essay. Based on the speeches of a Candomblecist teenager and her trajectory within the terreiro, I search for possible ways, from the daily practices of this space-time of aphrodiaspore traditions, to think about other narratives and raise questions about other writings. Also consider how this knowledge can contribute to the formation of identities in addition to the Western formats put in place.

Keywords: Education in the Terreiro; Oral Traditions; Aphrodiasporic Knowledge.
