Lifeways of young women in the education of young people and adults in the alto sertão da Bahia

Abstract

This text results from a clipping of the Scientific Initiation research-IC, developed at the University of the State of Bahia/Campus XII, in the period 2021/2022. This research sought to know and analyze the ways of life of young women involved in youth and adult education in Alto Sertão da Bahia. The understanding of the data was based on the assumptions of the qualitative approach. For this, documental analysis and narrative interviews were used with young women enrolled in the first segment of basic education, in the EJA modality, aged between 15 and 29 years. Data treatment was based on the content analysis proposed by Bardim (1977). The theoretical foundation was based on discussions, reflections and concepts of researchers in the field of EJA, with emphasis on studies that discuss ways of life of young women. In this clipping, the discussions will guide the studies on the presence of the various youths inserted in the field of EJA, highlighting the importance of building curricular proposals in schools that meet the specificities and singularities of young sertaneja women.
