Social organizations in Guanambi-Ba: contributions to the strengthening of the countryside people

Abstract

The text presents a clipping of the course conclusion research, carried out in 2021, its objective was to understand how Social Organizations contribute to rural people in Guanambi - Bahia. A qualitative exploratory field methodological approach was used, which sought to know, list and discuss the contributions/challenges that Social Organizations exercise with the subjects and in which a “snowboll” sample was also used. The research was carried out in the municipality of Guanambi – Bahia, with the participation of two Social Organizations that work in favor of rural people: Centro de Agroecologia no Semiárido – CASA; Union of Agricultural Workers and Rural Farmers. The instruments used were semi-structured interviews, field diary and photographs. The theoretical contribution is based on Rural Education, Agroecology and Public Policies. It was concluded that there are actions, programs and rights that Social Organizations have been conquering with rural subjects.
