The Cantigas de Roda are cultural and folkloric manifestations that are highly valued in Brazil, especially in the Northeast, more aimed at children. In our region, they were adapted for the suits of kings. They are traditional games related to folklore and have their roots in popular culture in the context of reisado. This work was carried out with the objective of rescuing the nursery rhymes that were adapted for the kings' suits in the Guanambi region, enabling the production of knowledge at a popular level. To talk about this manifestation, the experiences of the masters of the Folia de Reis of the three districts of Guanambi, namely: Ceraíma, Morrinhos and Mutãs, were taken as a basis, with the aim of disseminating the tradition of cantigas de roda introduced in the ters de reis, which they are simple melodies, usually of an octave and without modulations, and the sung themes are linked to the love universe, telling jokes and giving ironic advice, satirizing sensual and tragicomic situations in life.
