Abstract

I present a poem that is woven from the memories of my ancestor, who carries the cure for the soul and body in her hands, who shared her knowledge with me as a child and now shares it in verse.

Ananda da Luz Ferreira, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Difusão de Conhecimento (PPGDC/UFBA-IFBA-UNEB)

Ananda da Luz Ferreira, educator, reader and sharer of stories on African and Afro-Brazilian themes that are in the books and beyond. It develops courses and workshops that aim to talk with educators about anti-racist education in dialogue with children's literature. Pedagogue, Master in Teaching and Ethnic-Racial Relations (UFSB) and specializing in Children's Book at A Casa Tombada, both with research on children's literature and anti-racist education, PhD student at DMMDC-PPGDC with research on children living on the edge of the BR-101 in the extreme south of Bahia.
