RESEARCH ON HUMANS AND ANIMALS

The journal requires compliance with the ethical issues involved in research. The following documents are taken into account:

  • Resolution of the National Health Council no. 510, of April 7, 2016;
  • Resolution of the National Health Council no. 466, of December 12, 2012.

Thus, in the case of research involving human beings, it is required:

  1. In cases of research submitted to an Ethics Committee:
  2. Include in the body of the manuscript the approval number of the Ethics Committee to which it was submitted;
  3. It is suggested that information be included about the ethical precautions adopted by the authors during the production of the research;
  4. In cases of research not submitted to an Ethics Committee:
  5. Include a section on research ethics in the manuscript. We suggest reading chapter 23 of the e-book “Ethics and research in Education: subsidies – v. 1” (available at this link). - v.3 (available by ANPED at this link)

Ethical issues specifically referring to authors, reviewers and editors are described in the guidelines sections.
