A RELAÇÃO (NÃO)CONDICIONAL DOS FATORES DE RISCO MERCADO, DIMENSÃO E VALOR: EVIDÊNCIA EM CINCO PAÍSES DA EUROPA

Resumo

dimensão e valor, em ações cotadas em cinco países da Europa pertencentes à moeda única. Adicionalmente investiga-se se estes fatores apresentam relação condicional em função da evolução da situação económica, análise que se diferencia da restante literatura. Os resultados evidenciam que os três fatores de risco são explicativos da rendibilidade em excesso das carteiras de ações. Existem contudo exceções, para o fator de risco dimensão nas carteiras de empresas de maior dimensão e no fator de risco valor para algumas carteiras. A capacidade explicativa do modelo de Fama e French (1993) é claramente superior à do modelo CAPM. Os resultados do modelo de três fatores condicional mostram a existência de uma relação condicional. O modelo na versão condicional apresenta maior poder explicativo que o modelo na versão não condicional.
