Resumo

Este artigo focaliza o problema da natureza da educação e sua relação com a filosofiada educação. É apresentada uma discussão sobre a natureza da educação e enfatizada a necessidade de se entender o conceito de educação para se prosseguir através da filosofia da educação. O propósito deste artigo não é trazer uma filosofia da educação específica como modelo. O objetivo é discutir educação a partir da perspectiva da filosofia da educação. A filosofia da educação tem sido pensada para investigar anatureza e fins da educação de modo a oferecer elementos para a prática educativa.Questões sobre educação levam as pessoas a questionar sobre a natureza da educaçãoe por esse motivo é importante desenvolver o campo da filosofia da educação.Diferentes concepções de educação têm um aspecto comum concernente à necessidade de discussão mais profunda sobre fins e processos educativos. A investigação sobre educação é interminável e a tradição contemporânea e histórica da filosofia da educação nos convida a continuar a investigação sobre a natureza da educação na modernidade.Entender a natureza da educação é importante para todos os que estão interessados no desenvolvimento de pessoas para o desafio de um mundo novo.
